According to the latest available information, the “child” at the center of the saga—the one that the Ekweremadus took to the UK to allegedly harvest his kidney—is not a minor after all as earlier reports had claimed. Arise TV had earlier reported that the doctor who was to harvest the boy’s kidney stopped the procedure when the boy disclosed to him that he was 15 years of age. Then it was believed that the Ekweremandus had falsified the boy’s age on his travel document to facilitate his trip to harvest his organ.

Recall that a

signed by the senator had surfaced online.

In the document, the senator gave the boy’s name as Ukpo Nwamini David.

Well, checks on the name have revealed personal details that show that the “boy” is 21 and will be turning 22 later in October this year.

The documents confirming his true age include his Bank Verification Number registration details and his travel passport.

Video from his social media handles also show that he may be more than 15 years old.

Perhaps the boy decided to pull a fast one on the Ekweremadus to secure asylum in the UK. But as I stated in the opening paragraphs, we cannot conclude yet.
