Innoson Motors has produce vehicles for the Anambra State Vigilante Group in the state. The new trucks were procured to tighten up security within the state and also serve as a means of mobility for the group.

It will be recalled that the Bakassi Boys in 200 were rebranded as Anambra Vigilante Services (AVS) and they have been keeping the city free of crime and working with the security operatives.

This is not the first time that Innoson will be receiving patronage from both federal and state government. Many times they have supplied top government agencies like the FRSC, Army among others.

Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd., shortened as IVM, is a Nigerian automobile and bus manufacturing company. It was founded by Chief Innocent Chukwuma Nwala and runs a plant in Nnewi in the state of Anambra. Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing is nicknamed Pride Of African Road.

70% of the car parts are produced locally, while the rest is sourced from Japan, China, and Germany.
